We all know about palm reading. But have you ever heard of "lip reading?" Well, now you have!
Apparently, there is a science to reading the mark your lip leaves on a blank surface, like a man's body part piece of paper. I came across this through Sephora's blog and I thought it'd be fun to share with you all! You can click here to take the test yourself.
Natasha Burton from Glo interviewed Jilly Eddy, a "leading expert in lip interpretation" and founder of Lipsology.com. According to Jilly:
"Looking at a person's physical mouth doesn’t mean that is how their lips will print. A person with a very full looking mouth can make thin lip prints, and a thin-lipped person can make very full lip prints, etc. Each lip print, like a chapter of a book, tells a person's story."
Well, I gave it a shot; and I must say I'm quite surprised with the accuracy of this test! Here's my lip print:
There are shapes 8 different shapes to choose from: Oval/Round, Diamond, Thin Upper Lip, Thin Lower Lip, Full Upper Lip, Full Lower Lip, Dark Saturation and Light Saturation. I personally don't feel like I fall into one category completely as my upper lip looks like the example provided for the Diamond shape and my lower lip looks like an Oval/Round shape. So I chose both.
I definitely agree with both. As a performer, I find I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I always want to do my best, regardless of the forum. And as I expect it from myself, I also expect it from others. A point of contention among certain people :p. I'm also a worrier, so I'm all about things running smoothly. The smallest bump can cause some anxiety (I'm a little ashamed of this fact. haha!).
So Diamond + Oval/Round = ME!
What does your lip print say about you?
Is it accurate?
